Caroline Gilby views on emerging wine region

Master of Wine, Caroline Gilby, who has always been a champion of wines from Eastern Europe, gives her views on how this emerging wine region is capturing the imagination of UK wine buyers….at last!In her article in the opinions section of Harpers.co.uk, Caroline says...
“There’s so much potential and so many exciting new developments that it’s hard to know where to start.” She goes on to say “it’s more and more clear to me that our new neighbours in the CEE all have huge cultural differences and, more importantly unique wines, making this a happy hunting ground for anyone seeking the unusual.” We couldn’t agree with Caroline’s views more, and so are excited to be promoting and distributing the Stobi Winery in the UK at a time when wine buyers are recognising that the Balkans has a lot to offer in terms of quality wines.
