Signature Wines meets Manchester wine trade at SITT 2014

Signature's Business Development Manager was on hand to meet wine buyers from the North yesterday at SITT Manchester.Commenting, he said, “After being so well received last year at SITT London it was essential that we attended the event in Manchester this year to ensure we could show case the Stobi collection to wine buyers from the North of England.
It was immensely satisfying to find out that the collection of wines from the Republic of Macedonia equally impressed all those who tasted the Stobi collection.” Our already popular red wines were on display in addition to the new vintage whites. “I received some really great feedback from buyers, and as usual we gained a lot of interest for the indigenous varieties including both Vranecs. It is also really encouraging to know that independent stores like to know so much about the history and heritage of the wines, which is all part of the appeal for these wines. We were approached by many who said they were pleased to find such a great example of Eastern Mediterranean wines, for which is seems interest is growing rapidly in the UK as wine lovers are looking for new and exciting regions to try.” The quote of the event was “I never thought I’d be so impressed – what fantastic wines?!!"
