Signature Wines is delighted to announce that they will be showcasing Stobi Winery’s new 2014 vintage white wines alongside popular 2011 vintage red wines from the Republic of Macedonia at the forthcoming Emerging Regions Tasting (ERT) which is to be held on Wednesday 2nd September 2015 between 10.00am and 3.30pm in London.
The ERT is a unique event that allows wine independents and on-and-off trade buyers to explore innovative and unusual wines from undiscovered regions of the world. Signature Wines has built a reputation for discovering an impressive range of quality wines, with a keen interest in importing and distributing wines from the region of the Eastern Mediterranean. Signature Wines will be introducing all Stobi wines imported for the UK market including 3 whites wines which have just arrived into the UK in addition to a delightful Rosé wine which is made from the local Vranec grape alongside Cabernet Sauvignon to produce an elegant yet fruity wine. Guests can also experience the award winning Stobi Petit Verdot Barrique which is deeply rich and aromatic, as well as the intense Stobi Vranec and Stobi Vranec Veritas Barrique which are beautiful and characterful wines. Signature Wines is passionate about introducing the finest examples of regional wines and welcome new buyers to come and sample the taste of Macedonia at the Emerging Regions Tasting event this autumn. Great review from last year’s ERT about Stobi's Vranec Veritas Reserve, “Concerning the red wines the greatest revelation of the day was the Vranec Reserve from Stobi winery (Macedonia) bold and well balanced. Vranec being a grape that I had not tasted before but absolutely memorable!” BAACO.
