Interview with Signature's Marketing Executive

In house Design and Marketing department Manager supports the websites and newsletters for Signature Wines and any brands added to the portfolio. Keeping design in house means any artwork required for label design or presentations can be created quickly to meet with the demands of buyers and wineries.
- What is your responsibility at Signature Wines? It is my responsibility to support awareness of each wine brand we add to our portfolio, working closely with experts and agencies who are specialists in their field. I also have to ensure the wine brand, and our own brand, is protected and represents the high standards Signature maintains. I have a dedicated team in house to assist with social media, promotions and news. I would also oversee any design work required for any support material for each brand and exhibition we attend.
- What is the best part about your job? Definitely getting to sample the wine! The blind tastings we do as a team are always fun and a great way to get to know the product (and your colleagues) a bit better! It is always exciting when Signature takes on a new project or product and it certainly means I have a varied and interesting job which opens my field to new industries and people.
- Which is your favourite Stobi Wine and why? To impress as a gift or at a dinner party I would always take the Vranec Veritas Reserve, it has never failed to make people go WOW. Everyone enjoys learning about a region they are not familiar with and the history of Macedonia’s winemaking makes a great story. However, for my own personal tastes I like the Syrah Barrique which can be enjoyed on its own.
- Which five famous people would you love to have over for dinner and why? Tommy Cooper, Harrison Ford, Ray La Montagne, Einstein, Martin Luther King. Where would you most like to live? Home is where the heart is.
- If you won the lottery, what would be the first thing you would do? Eat chocolate!
- Name five things you ‘can’t live without’ Ollie and Daisie. Cheese, red wine and a hairdryer.
- What is your motto? Find out who you are, and then stay true to yourself.
- Who is your hero? Those people who have led me on a better path….they know who they are.
- Finish this sentence: “wine is best drunk……” In my garden, with a good book on a sunny day.
