For wine retailers and Sommeliers who were unable to attend this year’s Emerging Regions Tasting Event in London, pictured here, we would like to share the facts, figures and tasting notes which formed part of the Master Class presented by Darrell Joseph at the event.
Darrell is the Emerging wine regions expert for Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe and Association Wines of Macedonia who introduced the flagship Macedonian red variety, the powerful Vranec at this masterclass which featured the Stobi Vranec and premium Vranec Veritas Reserve. On the Vranec Darrel has commented “Prominent acidity, masculine tannins and thick red and dark fruit flavours.”

Winemaker’s note: Full bodied, temperamental “black” wine from the antiquity - wildness in a bottle. Supple tannins add fine complexity to this wine. Vranec Veritas Reserve
