Independent Wine Store Has Great Success with Stobi

Stobi’s Macedonian wines are gaining great respect and feedback for their wines, especially for indigenous varieties like the Vranec varieties which have intensely attractive flavours at highly desirable price points.
However, as any independent retailer is fully aware, the proof of a successful wine is in the sales figures. Last week Signature Wines' Business Development Manager was on the road meeting with new clients and attending the Three Wine Men Show in Manchester. Whilst on the road he stopped to visit Turton Wines who have been stocking Stobi Wines for several months and met with Brett Dawson. The Vranec was currently their biggest selling wine; a result of the store offering wines from different regions backed up with a personal service. Turton Wines regularly holds wine tasting evenings for customers, enabling them to present new and interesting wines to discerning clientele. The picture shows a recent wine tasting evening held to showcase wines from Macedonia. Business owner Brett Dawson said, “We love Stobi wines they are excellent quality and great value for money. The Stobi Vranec has been our bestselling wine ever since it arrived in the shop.”
