New vintage wines from Stobi for the new year

We are dlighted to announce the arrival of two new vintages from the Stobi Winery in Macedonia. The popular Stobi Vranec 2015 red wine and refreshing Žilavka 2016 white wine.
Žilavka 2016
Žilavka grapes are harvested and sorted by hand and produce a white-gold dry wine with green tints. With aromas of citrus fruits this refreshing medium bodied wine is flowery on the nose and has a pleasant freshness. If you have not tried the Stobi Žilavka yet then you can expect a bright white intriguing fruity wine from the Balkans.

Vranec 2015
Our most popular Stobi wine, the new 2015 Vranec is a deep ruby-purple colour and comes with aromas of ripe forest fruits and intense spicy aromas. Aged for 6-9 months in oak barrels and oak casks, this Macedonian classic has a full-bodied, fruity and spicy palate with notes of citrus zest.
