More and more consumers are using wine aps to help them decide which wines to choose from, so we are delighted that so many of the Stobi collection have been featured on Vivino, especially with the feedback and ratings they received.
Our premium collection of Stobi wines feature amongst the listings, all receiving high scores and great praise: Stobi Vranec Veritas Reserve “Whoa whoa whoa... hello Macedonia! It's not often you drink a wine with this level of distinction. Extremely deep purple in colour, after decantering you'll get an interesting balanced mix of aromas, from ripe plums to chocolate, vanilla and a touch of woodland. Well balanced on the palate with hints of spice and just enough oak induced tannins. Had there been a stronger fruit presence this would have scored full marks. Highly recommended. “ Paul Glaisher-Hernandez 4.5 stars. Stobi Syrah Barrique “Fabulous drink and very good with food”. Andy Craggs 5 stars. “Beautiful. Balanced. Blackberry goodness. A big bold autumnal wine. Yum!” Zoe Loake 4 stars. “One of the bigger, fuller Syrah I've had, also a first from Macedonia. I've had a Vranec Veritas & Petit Verdot from Stobi & they've both been equally good." Red Sipper 3.5 stars. Stobi Petit Verdot “A shining example of what's on offer at Stobi. All their wines have a distinct personality and this is the leading example. Hats off for making a single varietal from a grape used principally nowadays for blending. The complex nose is bursting with aromas such as liquorice, aniseed, vanilla and forest floor. Full bodied, delicious and perfectly balanced you'll find juicy tannins and a lush finish which is surprisingly less alcohol filled than expected. And this is a good thing! Go on, buy some Stobi now!” Paul Glaisher-Hernandez 4.5 stars. “Another great Stobi wine. Lovely hint of vanilla and strong cherry. Will definately keep a bottle for a couple years.” Simon Edge 4 stars.
