Signature Wines Meets Buyers at ERT

The Emerging Regions Tasting proved to be yet another busy event for Signature Wines and the Stobi range from Macedonian which was showcased at the event yesterday.
With over 300 buyers, distributors, independent wines stores and major multiples present the new tasting season got under way to a great reception. The tasting was non-stop and incredibly busy from the outset to the very end and trade buyers were keen to know everything about Stobi’s wines in terms of wine making techniques and exact proportions of grape varieties, details of which can be obtained from our wine tasting booklet. Our experts were literally ‘tested’ by people who wanted very in depth information; it was clearly evident that interest in the emerging region of the Eastern Mediterranean is growing rapidly. John Luttrell, Commercial Director at Signature Wines, met with key buyers including Susan McCraith from Wine Rack who was very happy with the Vranec and keen to get a white on board too. She said some of the success had been down to her store Managers promoting the product in addition to Signature Wines supporting in store wine tasting events. Reactions to the wines included comments like ‘very well made’ and as usual there was a lot of interest in the indigenous varieties, notably a number of journalists were interested and impressed by both the classic Stobi Vranec and Stobi Vranec Veritas. We were also delighted to have been tweeted by the Three Wine Men!
The Signature Wines team would like to thank all buyers and journalists for visiting our stand, we look forward to working with you in the future. If you would like more details on the Stobi range, or would like a copy of our brochure and tasting booklet, please contact us here.
