Stobi Vranec 2011 picked as Wine of the Week!

It is always gratifying to get positive feedback on our wines from industry experts, so we were delighted to see the Stobi Vranec featured as Tom Cannavan’s Wine of the Week this month on the Huffpost Lifestyle website.
Tom’s clip beautifully describes our rich and indigenous classic red wine, the Vranec, and shares his views on the modern twist applied to this traditional grape variety produced by Stobi wine makers in the Tikves region of Macedonia.
Tom also gives us his tasting notes; describing our red he says “Morello cherry red fruit, a touch of spice and a little chocolatey smoothness and polish. On the palate it bursts with dark, sweet sensuous fruit, layered with chocolate and touches of coffee, the tannins very easy-going and supple and the acidity nicely balanced.
