Stobi Wines a big hit at in store wine tasting event.

Signature's Business Development Manager was pleased to be invited to a wine tasting last Saturday at Radlett’s Wine Rack store to promote their newly launched wines including Stobi’s Vranec classic red wine.
The all-day event was a huge success for Stobi, impressing not only the staff and customers, but also the Master of Wine who was on hand to offer his expertise. MW Nick Tatham, pictured here (left) with Assistant Manager Ferenc Zelenak was complimentary about the quality of the Stobi Vranec commenting that it is an achievement to bring such a good wine to the UK market from this emerging region. Shaun Smith Branch Manager, pictured (right) with staff member Alex, was delighted with the event and said “We’ve had a few new wines in lately, and we all really like the Stobi Vranec, so displayed it in the staff recommendation section. It’s priced perfectly at £9.99, and gives the customers something interesting to try. I sold one bottle to a guy that wanted something different for that evening, and he came back the next day to buy a case of 6! That just shows it’s a good wine.” Commenting on the event Shaun said “The Radlett Spring Wine Festival was a tremendous success. We also tasted the Stobi at the Radlett Festival, again very well received. I feel Stobi is absolutely stunning. I took a bottle home as soon as we got it in and I knew it would be popular in Radlett. The wine has intense dark fruit flavours coupled with soft tannins and a velvety smooth finish. I have regular customers for Stobi, the wine sits proudly on our prestigious ‘Staff Recommendations’ stand.” The Stobi Vranec has been on the shelves at Wine Rack for a few weeks and features as a ‘top pick’ in their April-May magazine, pictured below. In the magazine Wine Rack says about the Stobi Vranec “If you really want to surprise your friends then try this wonderful wine made from intensely coloured Vranec grape which is indigenous to Macedonia. It is black, soft and savoury with lashings of damson fruit and it has real class.” Our Business Development Manager summarised the day by saying “It was so great to meet not only the staff at Wine Rack but also their discerning customers.
